My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Keiko (she pronounces it Keeko) is a six and one half year old Quaker with lots of energy. While her gender is unknown she has always been referred to as a lady (the vet thinks more likely male). Keiko’s loving family parted with her when a kitty joined the family and conflict resolution was unsuccessful. She is playful and loves to cuddle. She enjoys her pellet diet and h…as taken to chop. She loves bananas and popcorn and is fond of eggs and green beans. Keiko readily steps up and says “step up” as well as saying her name. Her call can be exuberant but we have not found it lengthy or excessive,just enthusiastic. She has a sweet and curious disposition. She exhibits some cage aggression (only with men) and once out of the cage is sociable and likes to groom her flock mates. She loves attention and does have some feather picking issues which the vet thinks will resolve if she stays busy with toys and family. You can watch a video of Keiko.
