Paisley's Story...
FOSTER LOCATION: Caldwell, Idaho

Hi, I am Paisley (what a cute name my foster mom gave me); I am a pretty cute puppy who is 5 months old. The nice people at Fuzzy Pawz Rescue who took me in think I’m an Australian Kelpie/Australian Cattle Dog mix – that means I’m one special Aussie!

I love to play! I will play with adults, kids, dogs, and even cats. I sometimes have to be reminded not to play too much with the cats. I don’t like it when they slap my face, but when they do I know enough to leave them alone.

I would love to find a home where I could have room to run and play outside in a big yard. I like to be in the house but it is so fun to just be able to RUN. I am house trained now and I do very well in the crate but I am definitely excited when you let me out so take me out to potty ASAP.

My foster mom is also working on my manners I know sit, I know what “no” means but I sometimes forget to listen. I do share the house with 3 other dogs and they all seem to like me so I don’t think I will have a hard time fitting in to a house where there are other dogs. In fact I think it would be nice to have someone to play with.

My perfect home would be; kids, dogs, parents and a yard – a cat is okay to if you must.
Oh yeah Fuzzy Pawz wants you to know that I am spayed and up to date on all my vaccinations – so no babies for me – YIPEE!!

(Paisley will need continued socialization and training, both formal and daily in the home. She needs an active family or a job to drain her energy.)

If you would like to meet me please complete an application and my foster mom will call you. You can do that on-line at: http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm

The adoption fee for me is $40, but you’ll also need pay for my spay and vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paisley, a Boise Australian Kelpie/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Boise, or seeking a Australian Kelpie/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Kelpie/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
