Riley is a handsome little 2 - 3 yr old Terrier mix who loves to snuggle and rarely barks. His foster parents think he believes he's a person, because of the way he likes to sit up and watch TV with them! Riley is a little shy with new people at first, but once he knows you he loves being close and feeling secure next to you. At playtime, he will run back and forth, asking you to please throw his toy again. Riley loves being outside, but doesn't need long walks, and would be perfect for a family who can give him all the love he needs. Although Riley can be picky about his dog friends, he gets along great with two of the dogs in his foster home. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Riley's adoption fee is $300.

Healing Hearts Animal Rescue Group is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abandoned, special needs and senior companion animals from high-kill shelters. We also rescue special needs and senior horses, as well as those who are headed to slaughter, or from owners who are no longer able to care for them. Please note that HHARG does not have a shelter or other physical location. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes.
We also serve as a resource to the public and to pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, good nutrition and preventative medical care.

Our adoption events are currently held at Pet Supplies Plus in Centreville, on the second Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Check our website at http://www.healingheartsrescuegroup.org/upcoming-events for other events.
Our adoption fee for dogs is $300, and for horses is $500.
We require an application, personal meeting with the animal, veterinary and landlord references if applicable. Home visits are done after this process is complete.
