I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

King's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

King's Story...
Meet King! A sweet and beautiful three year old neutered male Shepherd mix. King loves to be petted and go for walks. Even though he is missing one front leg he walks pretty well on a leash and off leash. As any Shepherd dog he is a bit strong and a bit territorial with other dogs, so a strong owner with experience is ideal.

King’s story is very sad. He was abandoned in rural Guatemala and was rescued after two weeks on being on the street on his own. He already had three legs at the time. We don’t know exactly why he was abandoned and why he only has three legs. What we know is that he is fully recovered and will always wag his tail to go for a walk with you.

King will be coming to the Seattle area in mid-February. If you would like to meet him, you will need to fill out an application first. Please email to request one.

There is an adoption fee as we are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. 100% of the adoption fee is used to cover King's travel expenses to Seattle and to support more dogs at our rescue. We currently house over 300 dogs at our shelter. See more information at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

King, a Redmond German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Redmond, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Redmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
