Catalina's Story...
Aloha new friends. My name is Catalina. I am a beautiful little lab mix girl available for adoption at the Columbiana County Dog Pound. I really, really love people. I am quite a good cuddler and I love having my belly rubbed. I also love to play fetch!! My favorite thing! You throw the toy, I go get it, then I bring it back and drop it for you to throw again!!! Best thing ever. I like other dogs but can get a little possessive at times. I know how to sit on command, shake hands and sit pretty. So, if you're looking for a new best friend like I am, I would love to meet you. Maybe we could be each other's new best friend!!

About Our Shelter...
The Columbiana County Dog Pound is a small, rural shelter in eastern Ohio. At one time, only a small percentage of the dogs entering the Pound made it out alive. Now, thanks to the vision of the County Commissioners, the Pound staff, and a dedicated group of volunteers, the Pound has become a source of hope. It is a place where lives are saved, not lost.

Columbiana was one of the first counties in the state to require that all dogs be spayed/neutered before leaving the Pound. This policy addresses the pet overpopulation problem at its source.

Hours:
Monday - Wednesday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Thursday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Friday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Saturday: 9am to 12pm
Sunday: Closed.

Our Adoption Process...
The adoption fee is $100, which includes a DHLPP vaccine, a rabies vaccine, de-worming, an Ohio dog license, and spay/neuter surgery. Additional low-cost vet care is available upon request.

Approved rescue groups can pull dogs at reduced fees.
