Hi, my name April, and I am looking for a forever home! I came to Friends for Life because my family was moving and couldn't keep me. They asked a neighbor to take care of me but the neighbor had too many dogs and couldn't keep me. The next thing I knew, I was running loose in the street - my family just left me there! Thankfully Friends for Life had room so here I am - ready for bigger and better things (and families!). I lived in a foster home for a week or two but they learned that, while I get along with other dogs, if I get too excited I sometimes can be nippy and possibly cause a fight. So, Friends for Life would like me to be the only dog in your home. But that's ok, because you'll love having just me! I am a "typical" Jack Russell Terrier, and I'll be waiting for you!
I will be available for adoption starting January 12, but you can come and meet me anytime the adoption center is open!
Rescue Group Info...
Friends for Life Animal Rescue is a registered nonprofit, volunteer-based, no-kill organization. Started in 1993 Friends for Life maintains an adoption center for it's rescued animals, a low-cost spay and neuter program (grant-funded), and a network of foster homes. Friends for Life also attends off-site locations to adopt the homeless cats and dogs and the organization is always looking for help. Friends for Life does not have a veterinarian on site or on staff. We utilize discounted services of veterinarians kind enough to do so for our rescued animals.
