Sammy's Info...

Breed: Domestic Longhair Color: Black (All) Age: Young
Sex: Male Hair: Long
Sammy's Story...
Young adult, neutered male, domestic longhair, black. Sammy was surrendered to the shelter by a woman who had tried to help out a relative by taking her two cats. Having a number of cats herself, she found it hard to make this work. Since Sammy was not neutered it was most likely the reason why it didn’t work! Sammy is a wonderful boy! He is friendly, loving, playful and very gentle. He would make a great family cat.

To adopt any of our wonderful shelter cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire which can be found on our website www.purrfectcatshelter.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Medway Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Medway, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Medway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medway paves the way for another one to be saved.
