Tinker's Story...
Tinker was one very scared little dog when she got here. It took us 3 days to lure her out of a corner, but once she decided that this was a safe place to be she is a whole new dog. She has "house privileges" scooting in and out of the dog door playing with all the other dogs, jumping up on our laps for snuggles you would never know she was the same dog. She is fully vetted and spayed and HW negative. She would make anyone a fine dog, she gets along with other dogs, in fact she and our Jack have a very special bond. Tinker is one beautiful rat terrier, / feist she weighs about 16 pounds and is only 1 1/2 years old. If you think that Tinker would be a good fit for you fill out an application on our website under the contact us tab. Call 931-698-0303 for more information about this special dog. An adoption fee of $150 is required which goes toward saving another dog in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinker, a Columbia Rat Terrier/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Feist for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Feist dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Feist breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
