Fella's Story...
This gorgeous marbled marmalade boy was taken in by a wonderful caring lady at Christmas time. It seems he wasn't wanted & was found left on the neighbor's porch in a crate...how sad!!! He doesn't remember any of that life now & is one happy-go-lucky friendly kitty. Located in Lincolnton, NC he is about 10 weeks old & gets along great with dogs & kids. He will have a vet appt. soon for his shots & will need to be neutered when he is old enough. But he is so ready to meet his new family & find his forever home now!! Could that be you?!?!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fella, a Monroe Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
