Elsie and her 6 puppies were going to be destroyed at the shelter I rescued them from, the date had already been set, lucky for this little family, that day came and went without taking the lives of Elsie and her puppies.. Elsie has been one outstanding mother to her babies and now is ready to start living her own life, she's around 1 year old, house trained, does well in the car, gets along with all the other dogs here, female and male large and small old and young. I do not have any cats, so do not know how Elsie would do around kitty cats. she knows how to use the doggy door, walks on a leash & sits when asked.. Elsie and her puppies will be spayed & neutered, up to date with shots and puppy Booster shots & wormed.

Please email me as much information about what kind of home and family life Elsie would have if adopted by you. Please e-mail Dawn of newdawn dog rescue if interested in adopting Elsie, and we'll email you back after reading what you had to say. also. Please leave a call back number

Act quickly to adopt Elsie. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elsie, a Grass Valley Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
