Eva's Story...
Hi! My name is Eva and I am a very sweet senior Golden Retriever mix female. I was found running along the should of the interstate (I69) in freezing weather. I get along with cats and other dogs. Would you consider giving an older gal like me a home? I would be eternally grateful. My estimated date of birth is 12/21/2003. Please come see me at the humane society, fill out the adoption application and get approved to take me home. The adoption fee for senior dogs is $100.00. This fee includes spaying / neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, Bordetella, Rabies vaccines for pets 4 months and older, heartworm test for dogs 7 months and older and worming. Dogs are kept on monthly heartworm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eva, a Anderson Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Anderson, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Anderson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anderson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anderson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anderson paves the way for another one to be saved.
