Myhrr's Story...
This is Myhrr. His mom is Mary; Mary was left at a shelter pregnant. Friends of Rescue took her in just days before her delivery. Myhrr and his siblings were all born in the care of a wonderful foster home and are growing like weeds. These babies will all be available for adoption after 2/1/2012. We are doing pre-approvals and taking applications now.

Myhrr is a cuddler. He is quiet and laid back. This sweet boy would make a wonderful addition to any family. His mom, Mary, is a medium sized dachshund mix, but we are not sure what his dad was. What we do know is this precious pup deserves a wonderful forever home. Puppies are a lot of work - so please be sure you've taken the time to educate yourself on the work involved with adding a puppy to your home.

Myhrr will be neutered prior to adoption and up to date on his age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. He will be microchipped and current on heartworm and flea prevention as well. His adoption fee is $225. To fill out an application, please email us at info@FORrescue.net Myhrri s being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Myhrr, a Marietta Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
