Spanky's Story...
Spanky is looking for a GOOD forever home. He is a year and half old, somewhat house trained (still working on that) and is a gentle giant with a loving demeanor. He is a wonderful dog that listens and behaves very well. All he wants is love and attention.

Spanky spent some of his life tied to a tree with no food, water or shelter. He was always left outside regardless of weather conditions with only a t-shirt on the ground for him to lie on. When he was helpless and attacked by another dog, a very nice woman stepped in to help him. He is now in a warm, safe foster home and lives with anther dog. He has been to the dog park and has done well. Spanky is looking for a loving home where he can be part of a family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spanky, a Burbank American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Burbank, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
