Chester's Story...
little chester is approx 2 yrs old and 14lbs, he looks like a yorkie /terrier mix, he was found dumped in a local park and just curled up in a ball trying to keep warm.. he is as sweet and gentle as can be, he did have heart worms and has been treated and is on monthly heart guard preventative.. he is well behaved and very quiet, gets along great with the other dogs, is a little shy, seems to be ok on the house training but not perfect, he does love to sleep on the bed at night and be petted and spoiled, this isa very nice little dog

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
