Meet Jump! We fed him as a stray for a long time- close to a year. He would come as close to ?Allan as a food bowl but would not eat until he set it down and took a few steps back. He jumps straight up and down to greet us! He is one of the Father's to the Lioness pups and he was trapped because a neighbor was threatening to shoot him, Lioness and Timbo, the malamute that were all running together. Jump is now at the rescue and is getting friendlier every day. He wags his tail, and wants to lick you through the fence. He is a sweet boy, and beautiful! Some of the pups have his spots, but hot his coloring. He will be neutered soon and will be ready for your family to give hm the love and security he needs.

About Texas Best Choices Animal Rescue

About Our Shelter...

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..

Donate to Our Shelter...

Find the Pay Pal Donate Button on our Petfinder page or Facebook page.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.
