Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Squishy McSullivan
8 Year Old Male Silver Spotted British Shorthair
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the placement of this cat. We take no responsibility for the cat's health and medical records. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.
Squish was born April 12, 2004 and he was bought from a breeder in Southern California. His owner has cared and loved him for the past 8 years, but finds herself experiencing hard times, having to depend on others while she gets herself moving forward in life again. She feels that Squish would be better off in a home surrounded by people who love and cherish him and can give him the best in life. Squish has no health issues and is an indoor cat.
Squish's new owner can expect him to lie around and purr when he is fed treats or having his head scratched. His owner says to imagine a sloth! It would be very rare to see Squish make a fast movement but he does have swag! Squish doesn't like to be brushed or combed but he will put up with it. And if his food bowl gets too low, he will let you know, so better hurry or he might start knocking things off the counters. Squish is a bit overweight but does try to cram himself into small spaces and he loves to look out the windows. He is ok with other cats and dogs, with proper introduction of course.
British Shorthair cats have an easy-going nature, are intelligent and very easy to groom. A British Shorthair is always in quiet control of his or her environment, supervising everyone and everything that happens in the family. They are steadfast companions to their entire family. If you think you might be the right home for Squish, contact Karen at 707-301-6425 or by email at k.pahler@comcast.net or go to www.purebredsplus.org and fill out an adoption application. Please note that Squish is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with his owner who is placing him. Adoption fee applies.
