Professor Phineas Ferb's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Professor Phineas Ferb's Story...
PLEASE adopt me and change my name! They named me Professor Phineas Ferb because it was the first thing that came to the rescue's mind after I was dumped at a volunteer's house - and taken to the vet to make sure I was healthy. I showed them - I got a clean bill of health! Now, to get rid of this name... I'm house broken - my foster mama is happy I don't do that "excited cocker piddle thing" whatever that means. I love to play with the other dogs here, but I think I want a family of my very own to play with too. I think being a mature 4 years old entitles me to a bit more than being surrounded by four legged children all day every day! Don't you? Oh, my foster family said to make sure I tell you I'm crate trained too!

Currently fostering in New Hampshire

***All of our dogs are located in TN, unless otherwise stated in their bio above. We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. We have a handful of foster homes up North, but the vast majority of dogs reside in TN. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Professor Phineas Ferb, a Naugatuck Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Naugatuck, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Naugatuck.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naugatuck already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naugatuck breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naugatuck paves the way for another one to be saved.
