Meagan is a very playful and friendly dog, about 2 years of age. She is a Mastiff mix, therefore is a big girl and just as sweet as they come!

Notes from her foster daddy:
She loves kids, although around small children she needs to be watched as she often does not realize her own strength. She loves to play fetch, and loves squeaky toys. She loves to be around other animals and other people as well, but is often shy at first. She is very shy and timid around males until she gets to know them (humans and/or dogs). She will sit, shake, lay down, and stay when told to do so, however her attention span is very short and will only remain there for a minute or two (this is something we continue to work on). J

Meagan is not fond of a leash, therefore we normally ride to the dog park where she can run and play without one. She loves to ride in the car and loves to be around others. She will bark when startled or something/someone is unfamiliar. She also likes to bark and growl at the animals she sees on the television as well!

SUGGESTED ADOPTION DONATION IS $150

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MEAGAN, a El Paso Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff for sale in El Paso, or seeking a Mastiff dog from a breeder in El Paso.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Paso already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Paso breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff breeders who help with Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Paso paves the way for another one to be saved.
