Mike's Story...
Hello – My name is Mike.

I was found as a stray and my foster family searched far and wide to find my family. No luck. But they have taken great care of me. I am fixed and current on all shots.

I am just a puppy (all 45 pounds) so basic training and pack position will need work. But I just love people and all I want to do is play. Can we go for a walk?

I am really looking for a home with other dogs so I can romp and play.

As you can see from the pictures I can hear you from a mile off with those radar ears and love my toys.

This pup is a courtesy post with Valley Dogs Rescue. Please contact if you are interested in meeting this sweet dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mike, a Gilbert Australian Kelpie/Chow Chow puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie/Chow Chow for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Australian Kelpie/Chow Chow puppy from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie/Chow Chow breeders who help with Australian Kelpie/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
