I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Buddy #363, a 3 year old, 7 pound purebred chihuahua, is still in his transition phase. He is a little stand offish but is trying very hard to figure his foster home out. He is used to a lot of activity coming from a very small house with a very large family with lots of kids under 4. He is interested in this thing they call a cat, but hasn't quite made his mind up about that thing yet either. Buddy is very unusual, meaning he is one of the wonder dogs who actually lived through a sickness that kills 99.9% of animals that catch it: I am talking about Parvo. But he is a survivor and he is now caught up on all of his shots and neutered. He instantly made friends with another foster named Charlie and Charlie has taught Buddy how to use the doggy door and when its time for treats. Buddy caught on very easily about the treats. He is good on a leash, and likes car rides and to lay in front of the heater. He wants to be part of the pack but unsure of the pack and himself; but this is just the beginning. His adoption fee is $250. For more information, please contact foster Mom in Grand Coulee at deneen_harris@hotmail.com or digsdogs@frontier.com

Rescue Group Info...
We are a group of volunteers that take in unwanted, abandoned or homeless Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. We take care of any Vet needs they may have and evaluate them as to temperament and likes and dislikes. We then match people to dogs and after completing our adoption process we send the dogs to their Forever Homes where they will be loved and valued as a family member.
We operate on donations and always have a need for things like leashes, harnesses, dishes, high quality dog food, beds, blankets and most importantly FOSTER HOMES!
***ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE***
We organized in 2005 and CR&R is registered as a non-profit charitable organization in Washington State & has Federal 501(c)(3) STATUS. We have successfully re-homed over 250 dogs!

Please contact each foster home where a dog lives that you are interested in to make an appointment to meet them. We participate in various events throughout the year where we show off our adoptable dogs.
Our adoption fees vary depending on the age and health of the dogs. We require that an adoption application be completed with at least two personal references and one Vet reference. We also do home checks to be sure the dog will go to a safe environment. Our Adoption Contract assures that the dogs will be cared for and if they cannot remain with the new family they MUST be returned to us.
