Sparkle's Story...
Sparkle is a sweet little Pomeranian mix who is happy and playful. He is about six years old and weighs about 20 lbs. He loves to go for walks and rides quietly in the car, content to roll around on his back in the backseat. Sparkle doesn't acknowlege cats. He doesn't like to play with other dogs but he loves to play with his people and dances and jumps for attention. He doesn't like children and we believe that's because they have been allowed to pull his tail. He is timid with strangers and needs some space at first but once he is sure you're going to be kind to him he will want to lay on his back in the crook of your arm or just be snuggled next to you. He loves to throw toys and makes a heroic effort to catch flying insects. He would do best in a quiet, adult home with someone that will dote on him and walk him regularly. In return he will do everything he can to make you laugh. If you would like to meet Sparkle, then please email or call 503-857-5047.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparkle, a Sheridan Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Sheridan, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Sheridan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheridan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheridan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheridan paves the way for another one to be saved.
