Gary's Story...
"Howdy there everyone...if you are looking for one, very cute and adorable little dog, then you don't need to look any further than my kennel. My name is GARY, and I'm a nine-month-old Pekingese/ Terrier mix pup who is absolutely one of the cutest little dogs that you will ever see. I'm over the top in love with people, and I get along great with other dogs. I'm cute, lovable, and playful, so I'd make a wonderful family pet. That being said, we need to get to know each other, and the best way to do that is for you to come to visit our shelter and ask one of our very kind Shelter Staff to introduce you to the incredible little dog whose name is GARY. I think we just might discover that we are meant to be best friends, pals, and buddies forever. Being on the small side, I'd be the perfect house or apartment dog. I'd only need a small yard where I could enjoy myself and play, and I'd love to have one of those wonderfully soft and snuggly dog beds of my very own in the house so that I could stay close to my person or my family. I enjoy going for walks and I walk nicely while on the leash. I'm just way too cute, and that is the whole truth! You can bet that I'll be watching and waiting for you, and also listening for the sound of your footsteps as they get close to my kennel, because then I will know for sure that you have come to meet me. I've got an incredible personality and the greatest smile ever. Come on over to the shelter, and let's have some fun. Who knows, I just might be that special little dog that you have always dreamed about. Please help me make my dreams come true for a new forever home with you. See you soon. Love, Gary" Kennel #59

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gary, a El Cajon Pekingese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Pekingese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Pekingese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
