I am housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Meet Buddy, Buddy is a 5 year old Black Lab. Buddy was rescued from a high kill shelter after being dumped there by a breeder that was done with him. Buddy is super sweet and loves his foster mom to pieces. He is very calm, house trained, and does well with other dogs and children. Buddy is undergoing heart worm treatment, and doing very well. Buddy would make the perfect addition to a loving home. Buddy is being fostered in Schaumburg.
Buddy will be neutered and microchipped as soon as he is cleared of heart worms by the vet. Buddy is up to date on his vaccinations.

We will do our best to respond to any and all requests and contacts as soon as possible, but we are a 100% volunteer run rescue. It is great because that means we can keep our adoption prices low because we are not paying salaries, but all of our volunteers do have families and "real" jobs in order to support our passion of saving animals from euthanasia, often just days or hours before they are scheduled to be put to sleep. That being said, one of us are going to do our best to contact via email or by phone within 24 hours of any inquiry. It is not uncommon that when you have made the decision to add to your family and committing to adopting a rescue dog that you are very excited, we just ask that you be patient with us.

We rely on our volunteers who dedicate their time, homes and hearts for our animals until permanent, loving homes can be found. We do not discriminate against animals based on age, breed, color of fur or physical disability. In order to meet one of our animals please inquire if one is available, if so, we will arrange a meet and greet. We also have adoption events frequently throughout the Chicago suburbs.
