Here's what the humans have to say about me:
18 month old Kool Aid was surrendered to rescue when her owners lost their home. She and her littermate, (who looked very much like a smooth red doxie), had a red smooth dachshund mother. Kool-Aid clearly takes after her mystery father. From her appearance, dad might have been a black wire terrier of some sort. .
Kool-Aid is extremely cute. Just look at those button eyes! She’s also a fairly undemanding dog and just goes with the flow. She came into rescue a little under socialized but has begun trying to play with the wild hooligan gang in her foster home. A home that would help her become more comfortable out in the world via walks and outings would be perfect.
Kool-Aid is shy but friendly with people. When she is held, she likes to readjust herself so she is sitting on your lap like a baby. She can sit like this for hours. She has no issue with any of the dogs in her foster home. She would enjoy having a canine sibling. .
Kool-Aid has learned to sleep in a crate although she used to sleep in the big bed with her owners. Kool-Aid is spayed, current on her vaccinations and micro chipped.
If you are interested in Kool-Aid, please fill out an adoption application and email Lindy at linla@comcast.net.
The tax deductible donation for Kool-Aid is $250
