Oreo's Story...
Oreo and her littermates and mama were all dumped at the kill shelter when they were only about 3 weeks old. She is the smallest one in the group but very spunky :) Their mama, Layla, is a lab pointer mix with a very shiny coat. She is medium sized. This pups daddy was a travelling milkbone salesman and he didnt leave his business card so we are unsure of her exact mix. Oreo is about 6 weeks old (January 10th) and she will be ready to come to her new home on January 25th. She is a friendly, active and happy puppy. Oreo loves to play with toys and other pets. Her foster family has several small children and she is fine with gentle kidsPlease, you MUSTpaste following link into your browser BEFORE emailing for further information. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a Staunton Labrador Retriever/Boston Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boston Terrier for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boston Terrier puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
