And now a few words from me: Hi, my name is Nova! I have gorgeous brindle coat and very expressive eyes. I would love it if my new home had a playmate for me but I will be happy without. I'm doing a great job at house training. I walk on a leash and know how to sit and lay down for treats! I love to play but I also love lounging on the couch with my foster brothers and cuddling with my foster parents.
And now a few words from my foster mom: Nova is a typical puppy, very sweet and playful. She is a tiny bit shy in newer situations and around new dogs but warms up quickly. She hasn’t met too many children but has no issues with adults. She would love a home with another dog.
Puppies require a patient family that is home throughout the day to teach and reinforce their housetraining routines. Puppies will quickly learn proper housetraining technique with constant attention and diligence on the part of their families.
In most cases with rescue pups we don't know and can't guess at the final weight of these puppies as adults, as we have never seen their parents and even the breeds listed are our sometimes our best guess only. Wherever possible complete information is given.

LOYAL Rescue is a foster based rescue with homes located throughout the province and in the United States. We do not operate a shelter, thus do not have viewing hours. Each pet is in a private home. In order to adopt this pet, please visit our website www.loyalrescue.com and fill in our online application. If you have any questions, please email us by clicking here.
Once you submit the online adoption application, we will arrange for a volunteer to contact you to conduct the telephone interview. The same volunteer will also contact your veterinarian and personal references. If the interview and references go well, a home visit will be booked. Should you be the successful applicant for this pet, you are then welcome to come and meet the dog. You are not obligated to adopt if the fit is not correct, however we must go through this process prior to you meeting the dog.

Although LOYAL Rescue has only been around since 2006, members of LOYAL Rescue have 40+ years of rescue involvement. Through our combined love and dedication to the dogs, we have come together to do what we can to save a life.
All adoptions REQUIRE an application to be filled out. There is an online application at www.loyalrescue.com. Once you complete the application, we will call you to answer any of your questions and confirm details before proceeding. We then call your vet for a reference, and call each of the three references you list on your application. If all goes well, we visit your home to confirm this is the best possible home for the dog you are applying to adopt. If you are approved, you then fill out a contract, pay an adoption fee (between $300-$400) and adopt the dog. ALL DOGS are up to date on shots, spayed/neutered (unless too old, unhealthy or too young to do), dewormed, defleaed and health checked before going to their new home.
We are located in Peterborough, Ontario and serve this area as well as the Kawartha's, across Ontario and even into the Norther States. YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR PET THOUGH as we DO NOT SHIP.
