Aro 4A29's Story...
Aro has been out our doors a couple of times before to only be brought back to us! Why? The first time was because he was too much a puppy, you know, the usual chewing and peeing; he wasn't really given the chance, or even the time to train him to know right from wrong. This recent time is because he was just not working out... oh how many times we have heard that! Here at the shelter, Aro is a great boy! He is very energetic and loves to play. He does well in his room and never has many accidents (the occasional overnight because you know he's left alone from 7-7, and that's a long time!) Aro just needs a family to grow and love him. He pretty much loves anyone that will give him that chance, so why not come in and visit with him? He is really a great boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aro 4A29, a Columbus Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
