Donny's Story...
Donny was abandoned in the country one very cold winter morning. He showed up at a rescuers back door, cold, hungry and begging politely for some food and human affection. Luckily for him, he wound up at the right place at the right time because he was soon taken to a shelter.Donny is a doll baby. He really is very easy to please and is a very well behaved boy. He does not like the chaos of the kennels and would much rather be in the offices around people, but stays out of the way.Donny has been mat trained we think because we've offered nice soft, cozy beds for him to lay on and we turn around and hes laying on a rubber mat or towel! Maybe he just never had a bed? Donny needs a real home and someone to show them they care about him. About Our Shelter...
HELP The Animals Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We are the only No-Kill Facility in Wayne County IN. We house and care for hundreds of animals daily. We run on a small staff and the kindness of many volunteers. Donations are always accepted and appreciated.

Come Meet Our Pets...
We are located at 2101 West Main Street in Richmond IN 47375. We are open to the public for adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 1pm to 5pm.

Our Adoption Process...
All adoptions require an application. You can submit an online application from our page at www.HelpTheAnimalsInc.com. After the application is approved you will sign an adoption contract and you may take the animal home. DOG ADOPTION FEES $95 CAT ADOPTION FEES $65. All of our animals are flea treated, wormed, spayed/ neutered and up to date with viral and rabies vaccinations. All cats are Feline Leukemia tested and all dogs are Heart worm tested. We can also microchip your new pet for an additional $20.
