My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In Bath , NY - Hi! My name is Ember. I am currently accepting applications for my forever home. Could that be you? My foster mom says I am a special needs puppy. She tells me that it means I am special, and that I need a special forever home. I am a purebred female catahoula puppy, and I am 4 months old. I have vision impairment in one eye and most likely I am at least partially deaf maybe more. But, I do not let that stop me. Sometimes I rely on my brother or one of the 2 adult male dogs that live here. And my foster mom encourages me to be independent and to be all that I can be. I have been in foster for a week and a half. Already I am crate trained, walking on a leash and being a good girl. I am working hard on the potty training and my foster mom says I almost have that mastered! I am learning not to jump on people, and same basic commands, using hand signals. Since I am a special little girl, I have a lot of love, and kisses to give, and I really like to snuggle. They say I am more outgoing than my brother. I am hoping for a forever home where there is a laid back, easy going male dog who can show me around and teach me the ropes.
