Beau's Story...
Beau was taken to a shelter after neighbors say his owners severely neglected, then abandoned him. The shelter staff fell in love with the sweetness and gentleness of this wonderful dog. Beau, who appears to be a pyr/lab mix, is about a year and a half old, gets along well with all other dogs and is extremely gentle with people. He is young, very puppyish and loves to run around a play with the other dogs at his foster home. He is crate trained and housebroken. Beau has been neutered, has had all his shots and is ready for a forever home. This is a very special boy that will melt your heart. Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to Great Pyrs. We have the best selection of pyrs in Texas and we do home checks and vet checks before placement. We start with adoption applications (no cost/obligation) and we make placements on a first submitted-first approved basis.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beau, a Kyle Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Kyle, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Kyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
