Cosmo's Story...
Cosmo is about 18 months old and a striking black tabby with shiny, silky, gorgeous fur. He is very social and loves everyone he meets- a stranger can go up to him and start to pet him and Cosmo will purr instantly! But we think he has never been around other animals, so would do better as an only pet or possibly with a cat or dog that is very relaxed and will leave him alone.

Cosmo wandered onto a animal loving family's property in search of a home. They are taking good care of him, but cannot keep him forever. Can you give him a home? He is currently staying at the Engineering Design Associates office in Springdale and would love to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cosmo, a Bentonville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bentonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bentonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bentonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bentonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bentonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
