Riley's Story...
Riley is a stunning 5 month old black male. He is extremely loving and sweet. Riley likes to be close to is human friends and enjoys being picked up and held. He is very playful, likes to chat and loves to be cuddled with. His new family should expect Riley to be shy at first. He will probably hide in the beginning and takes some time to adjust to his new surroundings and human friends, but once he feels comfortable, he will be absolutely amazing. He gets along with other cats and probably dogs. He is neutered, up to date with his shots and he tested negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia.

Riley is ready to go to his Forever home with you today!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Vero Beach Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vero Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Vero Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vero Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vero Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vero Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
