Petunia's Story...
Meet Petunia! Ever heard that phrase Regal Beagle? That's exactly what petite and pretty Petunia is. Around 20lbs. and just one year old, she appears to be a pure Beagle. True to her breed, she is spirited and friendly to everyone she meets. Petunia has had a tough start in life but is ready to put the past behind her and find her forever family. This tiny gal is a true joy of a dog, energetic, funny, and spunky. Her eyes follow you everywhere. Petunia is very attentive and watchful but she still loves to curl up after a hard day of performing all of her Beagle duties...ball chasing, investigating, and keeping squirrels out of the yard. Miss Petunia is a bit of an escape artist, so she would do best with a fenced yard to keep her from wandering.

Petunia dreams of finding a loving family to call her own. She’d even be willing to share it with a canine companion or two! If you would like to give Petunia her forever home, contact her adoption consultant, Sue, at 216-288-9735 or for more information on meeting this sweet girl. Petunia can’t wait to go home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petunia, a North Olmsted Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in North Olmsted, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in North Olmsted.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Olmsted already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Olmsted breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Olmsted paves the way for another one to be saved.
