I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Hi, my name is Peanut. I never had a home of my own. I was on my own in the cold sharing scraps of food with raccoons and a local fox. I learned to be quite the scrapper. Now I am in foster care. My foster mom says I'm a real firecracker and I have "cat"atude! I can be very lovable, when I want to be, but when I am done, I will let you know! I hope I have a home of my own soon. Can I come play with you?
Peanut has been tested for Feline Leukemia and has had her FVRCP and Rabies shots. She has had her flea and worm treatments. She has been spayed.
Please call 269-567-0328 to make an appointment to visit Peanut.
Thank you for your interest in one of our Cat Nap Lodge cats!

Rescue Group Info...
Cat Nap Lodge is a small cat rescue located in Richland, MI.
Our mission is:
To make a difference in the lives of homeless cats and kittens by:
1. Providing shelter, food, medical care, and adoption services for homeless cats and kittens.
2. Minimizing the needless euthanizing of homeless cats and kittens.
3. Providing public education and raise awareness of the plight of unwanted cats and kittens, and the importance of spaying and neutering.
We are very small and our space is limited. By adopting a cat or kitten from Cat Nap Lodge, you are not only saving a life, but you are making it possible for us to save another.
Cat Nap Lodge is located in our home on M-43 in Richland, MI. We love to have guests come over to see and play with our many wonderful cats. We do, however require visitors to make an appointment with us ahead of time. Please call us at 269-567-0328 to make an appointment.
We require an adoption application to be completed prior to adoptions. Once an application has been approved we can complete the adoption process. If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please contact us and we will send you an application.
We are a very small operation with limited resources so we do ask our adopters for a donation to help cover accrued veterinarian expenses. Our veterinary care includes the following: initial exam, feline leukemia, feline aids, and heartworm test, flea and parasite treatments, FVRCP shot series, rabies shot, and spay/neuter. This can run between $100.00 and $175.00. If a cat has not yet been spayed or neutered, we do ask for a $50 spay/neuter deposit. This deposit will be returned when proof of the procedure has been provided. For information on a specific cat or kitten, please contact us.
Cat Nap Lodge is a small operation located between Battle Creek and Kalamazoo in Richland, Michigan.
