I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Meet Nanna..an approximately 6-7 year old spayed female Chihuahua. Nanna will need a special home with no other pets and no children. She would do best in a home with a single person or couple. She will use puppy pads if they are near the door. She had a small tumor removed during her spay and it has not returned and the vet has said all is well.

Her adoption fee is $100 which includes age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, flea/heartworm prevention, heartworm test and spay.
Swampy Paws holds pet adoption events every Friday evening from 6pm-8pm at the Petco in Denham Springs.

Swampy Paws Canine Rescue is a small family run non-profit animal rescue located in Livingston Parish. We provide a safe haven for abused, neglected and abandoned animals in rural Livingston Parish.
Volunteers are needed in every area to continue to rescue the helpless animals.
You do not have to foster to volunteer! You may only have an hour a week to dedicate and that's ok, we have something for everyone.
Can't volunteer but want to help? Donations are always needed and appreciated!
You can donate directly to our account at our local vet's offices to help with medical costs.

Swampy Paws Canine Rescue holds pet adoption events each Friday evening from 5pm-7pm inside the Petco in Denham Springs.
You may also call 225-772-8836 to make an appointment to meet one of our adoptable pets!
Swampy Paws Canine Rescue currently has an adoption fee of $75 which includes age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, flea/heartworm prevention, heartworm test (if over 6 months of age), vet check and spay/neuter.
We do require a home check for large breed dogs and ask for a vet reference for all adoptions.
