Milo's Story...
Am I a beautiful dog or what! Look at my long long legs, and my shiny black overcoat, my deep soulful eyes. How could you pass up a beauty like me? I am just a sweetheart too, a fun young lad whos always ready to party! I love other dogs, just as much as I love people! I might be bit too much fun lovin' for small kids so I am looking for a family with children who are a little older. I am young and fun and eager to learn. I know a little bit already- I am crate trained and understand some basic commands too, but I really need someone with a firm hand who will take the time to give me all the training I deserve. If you are searching to add a little life to your party I am the perfect pet for you.1- 2 years old-74lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; neuter, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, 5 week training class, free vet exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area), leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Dane breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
