Scruffy's Story...
Scruffy is an adorable little Norwich Terrier/mix. He is approximately 8-10 months old (as of mid January 2013). We think he is done growing, but nothing is guaranteed with a rescue dog. He came to Gail's Pets after someone found him wandering along a rural road in Missouri.

Scruffy is just too cute for words. He loves to be around people, doesn't particularly like to be in a pen, and gets along well with other dogs.

Wouldn't you like to make Scruffy a part of your family? Please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com to learn more about Scruffy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scruffy, a Oakland Norwich Terrier/Norfolk Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwich Terrier/Norfolk Terrier for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Norwich Terrier/Norfolk Terrier dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwich Terrier/Norfolk Terrier breeders who help with Norwich Terrier/Norfolk Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
