Willow is Dilute Tortoise shell who was born around June 2012. Willow was trapped after being in a neighborhood for quite awhile with her feral mother. Willow was easy to trap with a little chicken! Willow has the most beautiful topaz eyes and beautiful colors. She is very lovable, purrs like a little engine is in her. Loves other cats and is a very lovable little girl and growing fast. She loves to be held and lets her foster mom clip her nails. She really loves her food though and is a chubby little girl now but was very thin when she was rescued. She has been vaccinated, spayed and micro chipped. She's a really dear little girl! Please go to http://www.animalalliesoftexas.org/adoption-application/ and fill out an application for WILLOW today.
Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to build a no-kill shelter on enough land to house not only "adoptable" animals, but "treatable" ones as well - those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. While working toward this goal, we will also engage in community service and humane education projects to help bring about "humanity championed by thought."
Come Meet Our Pets...
We hold adoption events at one or more locations every week end. Please check the calendar on our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org for specific locations and times.
Our Adoption Process...
All potential adopters must submit an application, either online via our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org or a paper application at an adoption event. General requirements for adoption: You must live in the DFW/Ft. Worth/North Texas area - we do not adopt outside this area. Dogs must be primarily inside, and cats must be totally inside. Cats must not be declawed. All pets must be spayed/neutered if this has not been done prior to adoption. Adopter must agree to a home visit prior to adoption. Adopter MUST agree to return pet to AAT if he/she can no longer keep the pet or if AAT deems it to be in the best interest of the pet. An adoption agreement detailing these and other requirements must be signed to finalize adoption. Current fees are: puppies (under 6 months)-$200, dogs-$175; kittens (under 6 months)-$125, cats-$110. This covers all vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.
