Gemini's Story...
Gemini is a male black lab mix who is about 50 pounds and has shown himself to be good with both dogs and cats. He needs a bit more leash work, but is a quick learner and is being taught sit and wait, and is doing very well with those. He has a good bit of energy but is improving every time he is taken out by a volunteer. A smart boy with a great personality! We rely upon donations and fundraisers. This is a tool we use to make good matches for our fosters to their forever homes. Please send us an email to request our adoption application that you may obtain on line or visit our home page to obtain our application.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process begins with an application. This is a tool we use to make good home matches for our foster animals. Our standard adoption donation is $125 for adult toy breeds, and all breeds of puppies under 6 months old. Other adult dogs are $85 , unless they are a giant breed and the cost goes up per our cost for surgery. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and de-worming. Dogs over six months old are heartworm tested. Our standard adoption donation for cats is $40 and kittens under 6 months old $60. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, de-worming and feline testing. We regularly run specials on companion cats, adopt one at regular cost, and get its companion for free. We have periodic promotions for reduced prices for all black dogs and cats, for senior pets, and for pets with special needs.
