*Peanut's Story...
*COURTESY LISTING. This pet is NOT in foster care with Leftover Pets. Please refer to contact info BELOW for more info on this pet.

Peanut is a 4 year old spayed female Siamese/American Shorthair cat. All of her vaccinations are up-to-date and is in need of immediate housing. Peanut not good with other animals. Peanut likes being around people and receiving affection on her own terms, like cuddling, being petted and brushed, but she will bite gently when she wants to be left alone. Like any Siamese, she can get cranky if you pester her, but she will be fine with anyone who is familiar with the breed. Her ideal home would be somewhere where she can lounge around near her people without being constantly petted and have a perch near the window so she can cackle at the birds. Peanut comes with a perch, a cat bed, a litter box, and tons of toys if her new family needs them. The current owner will also provide whatever litter and food they have at the time of her adoption.

Please email or call (770) 962-8842 for more information. Emails may be able to be replied to more quickly than phone calls.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

*Peanut, a Winder Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Winder, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
