Garfunkle's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Garfunkle's Story...
Garfunkle is a 4 yr old Flat Coat Retriever/Chow mix. He is UTD on shots & and is neutered. He IS a VERY sweet & loving boy. He listens very well...Knows sit, stay, & howdy. He does OK on leash & will fetch but will not give it back to you yet. As far as cats he acts like he really isn't sure what they are...So they may be trainable (my chow does not like any cats unless he knows they are ours, then he is fine with them). Prefer him to go to a home with children over 5 yrs. He absolutely LOVES people we have not found a person yet that he does not like. Please let me know if you would like to give Garfunkle his fur-ever home & family

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Garfunkle, a Indian Trail Flat-Coated Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Indian Trail, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Indian Trail.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indian Trail already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indian Trail breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indian Trail paves the way for another one to be saved.
