Why Choose me?
Buddy was brought to the pound for the crime of being a dog. His owner’s landlord didn’t allow dogs, and Buddy is pretty hard to disguise as a lamp. Buddy is a wonderfully silly, toy-crazy teenage puppy who’s a lot of fun to be around. We didn’t have a toy when we first brought him into the interaction pen, so we gave him a pine cone and he happily demolished it. When we showed him the purple ball, he really went to town, running with it and tossing it in the air. Buddy has lots of lab puppy energy, so he’ll need a nice walk or jog and some playtime every day, but then so do you, right? We suspect Buddy hasn’t had any obedience training, but we got him to sit for a treat in about 30 seconds, so he’s ready to learn. He seems like he’d be a great dog park dog too, since he thinks everybody on two or four legs is his best friend.
