Chloe's Story...
Chloe was an owner surrender. She hated the shelter! She couldn't understand how one night she was sleeping in a warm bed, next day she is laying on the cold ground. She is a very sweet dog, timid, but friendly. All of her shots are UTD, will be spayed prior to adoption. Chloe is about 6 months old, and about 80% house trained. She would be do great with dogs or cats I'm sure, doesn't like to share her food though!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Nashville Dachshund/Feist puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Feist for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Dachshund/Feist puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Feist breeders who help with Dachshund/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
