Goofy's Story...
Lap dog in training!! Meet Goofy, a black lab mix puppy who's about 10 weeks old! This guy will be a big boy when he is fully grown- his has very large paws and an even bigger heart! He is a very sweet puppy who loves to play and go for walks. We are working on potty training and basic obedience commands such as sit, lay down, and no bark and so far, so good. He is full of puppy kisses and loves to be around people! He gets along great with other animals; playing with whomever he can find!! If you are looking for a sweet new puppy to call your own, don't miss out on this guy! He is being fostered in York, PA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goofy, a Hanover Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hanover, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
