Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Molly would like a home of her own with no other dogs - she is a relaxed girl who loves the couch but also loves to walk. She has been through a lot in her life - being abandoned over and over, being attacked by other dogs, and getting hit by a car. She just wants a wonderful retirement home! Molly is around 8 years old and such a good girl with humans. She likes to explore and go on walks, and she has learned to use a gentle leader well - initially she will pull but then settles right down into a nice walk. Molly will not go out of her way to bother other dogs but if they get in her space she doesn't like it.
Molly doesn't need a crate because she doesn't bother anything. She lives with a male dog larger than her and they tolerate each other but Molly treats all new dogs like they are going to hurt her (who could blame her?). When a new person comes to the door Molly will bark, and she will again when they leave. She could use a new foster placement where she can get some exercise and enjoy a quiet warm couch.
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, https://sites.google.com/site/luckypuprescue33/, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
