Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LUNA is a young Border Collie mix. She has a great personality! She is very sweet and fluffy and will make a great family pet! She does love to chase cats, so she will need a feline-free home.
She loves to sit on top of her dog house, just like Snoopy! Luna is a busy girl who needs an active family that understands that herding breed dogs need a job to do or they will find one themselves, and it not always one that their humans appreciate! Luna is going to make a great companion for that family that can give her the attention and exercise a puppy needs. She would LOVE a fenced yard and/or a human running companion and would ADORE a sport like agility, flyball or dock dogs. She is a master frisbee chaser and is learning quickly. She is working with her foster mom on sit, down and learning "off" when she jumps to greet someone. She is excitable and just wants to give lots of love. She loves the car and is good and curious at what is going on while riding. She will need to be crated when her humans are not at home, and she walks great with her new harness.
Luna's foster mom shares, "She has a great personality. She likes meeting new people. She is so cute, she kind of makes noises like Chewbacca from Star Wars and I started making noises back at her. We were having quite the 'conversation' and she just stared at me and kept cocking her head back and forth wondering what was I doing. Funny girl!"
To apply to adopt Luna, please visit our web site to access our application, www.luckypuprescue.org.
Please note: We do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
