ROGUE's Story...
My name is ROGUE, and I’m a neutered male Jack Russell Terrier who is retiring from the show ring. I'm tan and white with a smooth coat. I am JRTCA registered and pedigreed. All my shots are current and I have been microchipped. I have been heartworm tested with negative results. I am 8 years old and in excellent health, so don’t let my age fool you! Jacks can live to be 18-20 years old, so I’m not even in middle age yet! I like to jump up into your arms and I love to play with toys. I am very smart and very beautiful. I am not good with young children, so no kids under the age of 8 years old and only kids that are respectful of animals because I don’t tolerate harsh treatment. I get along well with female dogs, but no other male dogs in the household, please. I’ve never been around cats, but I don’t think I would like them at all. I am very athletic and love long walks or running/hiking/jogging. But I’m also content to be by your side while you read or watch TV or relax. I like water and enjoy swimming. I am completely crate trained and am an ardent traveler in the car or RV. In fact, I have more airline miles and RV miles than most humans. I must have a house with an adequately fenced yard to play in, so no condos, townhouses, or apartments without a yard. I would do well with an owner who has experience with Jack Russell Terriers, but if you don’t, I can teach you a thing or two very quickly about my breed! I am a quiet dog but I am not docile. I have a lot of energy and am very curious about the world around me. My adoption fee is $300. You would be very proud to own me as I am a handsome example of the breed.
