Cobalt's Story...
Hello there, my name is Cobalt but sometimes my friends call me Cobe. As you can see I am a striking young 2 year old boy. I have a unique blaze on my chest and a couple of white tipped toes, but trust me I am all Weim! Although very unique and handsome ( I have heard them say I have the "Wow" factor), I have a very athletic sport dog build as one would expect and am as fast as they come playing in the yard. At home though, I can relax and chill with my human family and like to be close to you to get lots of pats and love. Snuggling with you is an added bonus! I am overall a very quiet boy (barking is over rated in my opinion) and if need be I can hang out in my crate, but I promise that once I know your routine I am an exceptional gentleman in the house. I do not mind being around any size human but smaller critters might be a temptation for me. I have not been around smaller pets in the home but I do like to chase those small furry critters in the yard and up the trees. I am great around other dogs big and small and am very social and like to play with my canine buddies. So, if you have another dog that is fine and we will get along great. I am mellow and not bossy and like to like just go with the flow. However, if it will just be me and my two legged family, well that is okay too! As I am in good shape I can also help you with your New Year's resolution to get out and exercise. I will make a great running or jogging companion for you and help you to stay motivated to hit that resolution this year. All in all, you will find that while handsome, I am pretty laid back and an easy going guy just looking for that forever home to make my New Year's wish come true. Are you looking for me perhaps? If so, get to the phone, do not waste another minute and contact GLWR so we do not lose any more time of our great New Year together! Hope to see you soon! Yours truly, Cobalt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cobalt, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
