Raven: 4 months's Story...
Meow, meow and welcome!! If you are seeing me listed here on Bast's Bastion's Adoptapet, it is because I have already been saved from death row. And I'm now living in foster care.

It's nice here, but I still need a family of my own. And I want to make room for another death row doggy to be rescued. So, I need you to adopt me!!

I have had all of my vet care done. I'm FIV and FeLV negative, up to date on shots, spayed or neutered and dewormed/ deflead.

Here in my foster home I am an indoor cat and litter box trained. I get along with other cats. And I get to interact regularly with kids and dogs (ask about that too.)

My adoption fee is $155. That helps pay for the care I have received, plus my microchip and USDA travel certificate. I'll also need a carrier to come home in.

I can be transported to eastern PA, NY, CT, VT or NH via www.rescueriderstransport.com for an add'l $135. (Or you can come and get me!) Bonded pairs of kittens are adopted and transported "two for one."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raven: 4 months, a Farmington Bombay kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bombay for sale in Farmington, or seeking a Bombay kitten from a breeder in Farmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Farmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Farmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bombay breeders who help with Bombay rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Farmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
