Meow! My name is Pearl Girl

My name is Pearl Girl and I'm a sweet Blue Point lady. I came to rescue with my mother, Cleo. I am very sweet. I am shy at first. I just arrived in my foster home from the shelter, so check back for updates. I need to see the vet as my teeth aren't so great and I need a dental and probably some extractions too. My age is a guesstimate from the shelter, so check back for an updated age once we have a thorough exam. 

UPDATE 1/26/13:

I saw the vet today and I am looking good other than my mouth. As suspected, I do need to have a dental cleaning with some extractions. The vet is guessing that I am around 5 years old. As soon as I have my dental, I will be ready to go home. Our pre-surgery bloodwork and dental will be expensive, so if you would like to donate toward that, the rescue would be very appreciative. UPDATE 3/3/13:

I had my dental on 2/28/13. My pre-surgical bloodwork looked good. I had 6 extractions and a cleaning of my remaining teeth. I got an antibiotic shot and came home with a pain patch. I am doing well and am up and about and eating. We are still seeking donations to help with the cost of Pearl Girl's surgery and care while in our program. I am bonded with my mom, Cleo, so we need to be adopted together.
